THE 4 ELEMENTS AND OUR WEAKNESSES

All negative character traits arise from the four IESODOT (foundations ).                                                    The 4 elements are the foundation of the creation in all their forms. Fire is dry and hot and their corresponding humor is red. Air is wet and hot and their humor is white. Water is wet and cold and green their humor. Earth is dry and cold and black their humor. All the forms of creation have their own compound and each shape is unique.                                                                                                              There are 4 categories for the 4 elements, and according to the evolutionary level there are some equivalences.                                                                                                                                                   Melancholy and derivates animal kingdom. Bad passions and derivates vegetable kingdom. Banal words and derivates animal kingdom. Pride and derivates human kingdom.                                                             All those who embark on a path of spiritual development must fracture all vices. Discover the origin and find the antidote with the right posture to adopt. What causes outcrops or vices to manifest is to deviate from the proper path due to personal desires along with ignorance of the consequence of the actions. Sometimes we are conscious and have the free will to restrict the impulse, and if it is not done it is because it is trapped by what is it dragging.                                                                                                    We should ask ourselves what benefit vices bring us. ¿ What do we lose with the slavery that represents the dominion of vice ?                                                                                                                                      Melancholy, mineral kingdom it comes from the earth. We can not stop the time, the experiences are fugitives and we can not retain the past. The bad passions comes from water. We must desire to be better, to endow ourselves with quality, but those desires that can harm health, the economy and relationships we must know how to redirect. Banal words are related to the animal way of life. Derivates such as falsehoods, slander, self praise. These expressions show someone who is weak, and instead of going with the truth and courage, chooses the opposite that betrays his inner poverty. Pride is human, includes anger, vanity and hate. Believing onself important is ignorance. We all perform a function and talents are only a loan to accomplish a purpose.                                                                                                                        Getting ride of vices is an ongoing process, it takes time, patience and effort. If the person don´t have high aspirations beyond subsistence will hardly vanish vices which will remain indefinitely. And in case of a longing for meaning and substance from day to day, transforming vices into virtues is a constant task of great will, knowledge and discipline that must be applied daily.
