THE SMALL HEART PREVENTS CHANGE

Pending the fulfillment of immediate needs, we focus on strictly material matters, and pushed to the periphery we move away from our center. We have no idea why things happen or what to do about it. Repetitive situations without seeing the cause or how to deal with them if we do not awaken the desire for a meaningful life that trascend mere subsistence. If we delve into spiritual studies, the answers come slowly, only in a very small proportion. Knowing the areas to work on is a tiny part, and listening or understanding what connect us with our specific work does not mean a change in the short term.              To retain knowledge and be able to transform what is needed, we must involve the heart. The heart of the wise men of antiquity was the size of a large living room. The capacity of the following generations was the size of a room, and currently it is as large as a needle. Over time, our heart has degraded. In the past, when you spoke someone endowed with wisdom, if you told them that they had a problem, for exemple anger, because they had a large heart and the capacity to retain this knowledge, they could change in a moment. Today we can insist many times on a topic and remain the same. The fact of listening to the same arguments countless times does not guarantee the necessary change to made.                                             The capacity to retain knowledge and change is very small. Constant study and practice must persist until we go deep when we acquire true understanding and maturity which may require decades and decades of insistence.                                                                                                                                                      Every time we hear, that understand, we only retain a small fraction of it to change. For the purpose of changing the heart is small, and the practice and reminder must be constant. Living with benefit and purpose is a permanent commitment that encompasses all areas at all times.

THE VALUE OF EXCHANGES

Exchanges are present in everything. What allow us to live in all kingdoms from minerals to humans is constant exchange. From inside to outside, from outside to inside, from ourselves to others, we are continuously influencing the environment with our emissions. If we want to generate peace and well- being, we already know what we have to do : emit good vibrations in what is thought, felt and expressed.  Everyone longs for quality exchanges, and if what is observed daily is so far from approaching it, it is because words and actions are soiled by inappropiate desires and by the ignorance that drives them with the discomfort left behind.                                                                                                                             We exchange what is stored inside in the form of ideas, criteria, values and desires. If what is accumulated has solid foundations expressed with equanimity, the exchanges will leave good feelings. On the other hand, if we are partial, driven by personal interest, with obvious shortcomings in what is expressed, the exchanges will be of low quality and often sterile or leading to tensions depending on the environment and the interlocutors.                                                                                                                The superficiality prevailing in lifestyle, activities and objectives makes it difficult to transmit enriching forms. The expressed level stagnates when there is no incessant development that expands knowledge and awareness, facilitating refinement in the different areas where we can carry out exchanges.                     Nature and the abundance of tools and means at our disposal is a wealth that provides us with what we want or desire. If our exchanges with nature, or between humans, are surrounded by pollution and dangers, it is because our internal poverty blinded by selfish desires that cloud our vision, and believing that we do it for our benefit, it is actually to our detriment.
