We naturally approach the pleasant and move away in the opposite direction. We associate disgust and hatred as factors that generate discomfort, but they are different concepts. Disgust has to do with the physical senses. What we see, touch, hear, smell or taste directly, as verifiable sensations. Hatred is the product of mental schemas compared with internalized patterns related to costums, forms, ways of proceeding, different peculiarities. Hating is intolerance, not accepting what can bother, valued from limited personal perspective. Multiplicity is present in all areas, and if our characteristics have the right to manifest themselves, the opposites also if they respect laws and regulations and do not alter coexistence. We can choose the constructive side of appreciation and respect towards other despite disagreeing or not fitting in, or the negative that despises, attacks and wants to eliminate all dissent due to the supremacist attitude of those who believe themselves superior, where the one who has value is the one who does the right thing. And those who go off the script are wrong and need to convert or disappear. What is it that bothers you, what are the foundations ? Where is the logic if those who are different do not directly affect us, if they do not force us to impose their ways, if they do not cause any harm, where is the sense of hatred ? Neither our ideas, customs and criteria have the supreme truth, nor are those who are different wrong and are a danger. Saints or sinners are found in all types of contexts. The behavior and the result of the actions are what determines the rightness or error of what is expressed. Disgust is objective and verifiable. Hatred is subjective, the product of personal values, exalting those who are agree with us and belittling those who think or act in an ostensibly contrary way. There will always be situations that generate disgust, but we can be free from any hatred by accepting diversity and showing ourselves neutral to preserve peace.
