INTERESTS AND TASTES. WHAT WE WANT, DO AND HOW WE ARE

Interests and tastes are the impulse to seek resources that provide nourishment and satisfaction. What we want determines what we do because of how we are according to economic possibilities and the environment of action with its characteristics.                                                                                              Individual consciousness, the survival instinct and self esteem push from within to find outside the conditions that provide the desired nutrients. The quantity and quality will indicate what and how according to the evolutionary level, refinement, personal function and cultural influences. Each one is unique in their peculiarities, and thus interests and tastes depend on multiple factors that may coincide with some and diverge with others. The important thing is that interests and tastes, apart from covering personal demands and desires, point to questions that reinforce spiritual concerns that broaden the perspective to provide efforts and purposes with contend beyond pure subsistence.                                    How we are in essence determines what we want and what we do. Therefore, it is essential to know what we want, because the subsequence consequences that can be constructive or destructive depend on it.      What percentage of the population is known in depth to clearly elucidate where the pretensions have been forged and if they are relevant ? Mostly disconnected from the inner center, dazzled by worldly offerings, interests and tastes often harm more than they benefit. Finding the balance between the necessary and the dispensable, what is convenient, and what we must leave behind, is a constant daily task that requires knowledge, equanimity, and the ability to measure correctly. We are what we do and want, and the result is the clearest exponent. Tipping the scales towards what is beneficial or harmful is the challenge that test us

INTERNAL IMPOVERISHMENT EXTERNAL CONFLICT

What is shown on the outside emerges from the inside that has been previously stored by a set of experiences influencing us according to how we have received it, the pleasant or unpleasant and our own interests that decide the type of response.                                                                                                     The visible and the invisible, the internal and external, shape our way of seeing the world by the conception that we forge of ourselves and others, and what we believe from the particular position how things should be convinced of seeing it clearly. It often happens that what is considered appropiate or correct is not so due to the subsequent repercussion, and this is where conflicts begin : due to an erroneous vision and criteria, and due to the desire to satisfy selfish interests.                                                              Too focused on the outside and material gains, and very little on the inside and individual development. The guide on what we want and how to act to establish harmony, must mature by observing the maximum of references for an optimal fit between the personal and the alien. If we prioritize personal gain by disregarding harmful actions in someone, it is already a sign of internal impoverishment, because what originates tensions, polemics and discomfort is to end up in conflicts                                                          What we continually see on so many fronts is internalized miseries in search of unjustifiable pretensions to satisfy unhealthy desires. A society lacking clear ideas that makes mistakes time and time again by wanting what is not appropiate, and with darkness imposing itself on the light, erroneous decisions are made that only perpetuate the discomfort.                                                                                                      To win, to have, for my benefit, patterns that lead to my own impoverishment as individuals, and the echo spreads throughout the collective. The human race with an unknown potential could work wonders, and instead, letting itself be guided by primary instincts, becomes a wretch, making impossible the conditions that the majority yearns due to the disturbance of the actions commited.
