INFINITESIMAL RESIDUES

Infinitesimal residues is what remains at the end of the day. Diverse, varied occupations, and from all of this what benefit have we extracted ? Day by day we pass the test of subsistence by maintaning ourselves, with brief breaks and sustained activity. We want to preserve the physical presence but without transcendent ideals, simply going on without really knowing why, for what purpose or asking ourselves if what has been done and the intentions are adequate.                                                                                       Over the years we can meet dozens or hundred of people and how many of them have been significant ? How many have inspired us ? Most of them are insubstantial, just like the successive routines of each time.. How many events do we remember from a year ? How many are remarkable ? How many days have we been excited or excited about what we are doing in our current lives ? We want to live exciting experiences, but obligations, dependencies, concentration almost exclusive on mundane issues, together with limited knowledge focused on the work environment, keep this from happening. The day to day reduced to repetitive routines with a narrow margin of maneuver to get out of a forced circle, is simply to cover the file without knowing exactly what for and where it will all lead us.                                               Our potential can be great, but due to various factors it is reduced to the minimum expression. On all fronts possibilities remain in infinitesimal portions. What have we retained from what we studied as permanent knowledge ? From a conference considered interesting, what do we end up retaining ? From the daily diet we take advantage of the essential and the rest is eliminated. Everything remains in synthesis. Daily work, various activities, conversations, pass through a kind of filter so that what is useful in practice remains. This evidence should make us rethink what we invest our time in, the viability or not of certain efforts, what really nourishes us and what is dispensable, because if what is considered valuable is diluted to the maximum, the void of content is directly a loss.
